At The Hap’ning Place, we help students of all ages and abilities unlock their musical potential. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced player, our one-to-one lessons bring out the best in your technique, creativity, and confidence.
Our private tuition is available Monday to Saturday, daytime and evenings, at our Crouch End studio (N8) or online, so learning fits seamlessly into your schedule.
We teach children and adults using modern, flexible techniques tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you want to play for your own pleasure, perform in recitals, or prepare for auditions and graded examinations (ABRSM, Trinity, LCM, or RockSchool), we’ll help you progress at a pace that works for you.
Our students range from 5 to 85 years old, and we encourage everyone to aim high — whether aspiring to be an Elton John, Jimi Hendrix, or Nicola Benedetti.

Learning an instrument at The Hap’ning Place isn’t just about practice. Our students are invited to showcase their skills in our three annual studio recitals and ensembles gaining confidence in a supportive environment.
For those pursuing formal qualifications, our experienced teachers provide guidance for graded exams with a 100% success rate, ensuring technical growth alongside musical enjoyment.
